In the modern world the problem of correcting emotional state of an individual is of great importance. Methods for training emotional self-control, as well as methods for hardware-software support of emotional self-control training are widely developing now. We can single out three types of such methods. Non-adaptive methods (completely setup by the specialist). Greatly effective adaptive methods (contain mechanisms of patient’s therapy parameters automatic setup, for example INTEX).
In the complicated cases flexibility of the adaptive method is not enough and then the result depends on the professional experience of the specialist. Intellectual methods, that include mechanism of evaluating patient’s state and allow to work out the therapeutic tactics automatically, can increase and improve therapeutic effectiveness.
INTENS complex was developed by RITM OKB ZAO engineers. It is one of the first intellectual methods for supporting emotional self-control training of an individual. The paper studies the method for making the control over the training process automatic. It also describes the method for improving patient’s motivation by complementing the therapy with the biofeedback game modality.
