A SCENAR-DE test sample has been used in the Zaporozhye branch of the Odessa Medical Systematic Center “SCENAR-Ukraine”. 83 patients have been treated.

On average one course included 7 to 15 treatment sessions, each session lasting for 50 minutes. To estimate the treatment effectiveness for inflammatory diseases and menstrual cycle disorders, the following three-point scale has been used:

3 points – complete pain relief
2 points – significant improvement, almost complete pain relief, improved functions
1 point – slightly alleviated pain and slightly improved functions
0 – no effect

*Long treatment, late appearance of discharges due to hormonal contraceptives the patient used to take, the treatment course included 20 sessions.

Best and fastest results have been obtained in patients with the shortest anamnesis and less marked clinical presentations. Positive results have been achieved in all cases.

SCENAR DE was used in the special program mode (unilateral (one-side) and bilateral (both sides) oophoritis), extra programs have been used with the following settings:

Program 1: trajectory 1; rate 20; sequence (chain) 1; time 5 min.; frequency 90 Hz; intensity 3; gap 100; trajectory 3; rate 20; sequence 1; time 5 min.; frequency 120 Hz; intensity 3; gap 100; trajectory 5; rate 20; sequence 1; time 5 min.; frequency 90 Hz; intensity 4; gap 70;

The programs were switched in the following order: special program, program 1, program 2.

Besides SCENAR DE , a SCENAR-97.4 was used to treat general treatment zones (“3 pathways and 6 points”, collar zone, small pelvis area, and the lumbosacral part of the spine).

* The patient was admitted for SCENAR-treatment after being treated in the Family Reproductive Function Center where she was given a course of hormonal therapy. We cancelled the hormonal treatment and then treated her with SCENAR DE and SCENAR 97.4 devices. She was given 2 prolonged courses.

** Using hormonal contraceptives increases the treatment time twice.

Best results were achieved in patients at the age of 18 to 20. To treat little girls, the rectal electrode was used instead of the vaginal one, and the superficial electrodes were arranged in the same way. The hormonal state recovery program was used. Besides SCENAR DE , at the beginning of the treatment sessions, SCENAR-97.4 was used to treat general zones, craniotherapy was given and the “Elena” set of techniques were applied. From time to time the treatment was adjusted and corrected based on the electropunctural advice given by Rista.

The treatment effectiveness for hyperplastic processes was estimated using a three-point scale as follows:

3 points – evidently improved condition
2 points – USI-proven decreased clinical presentations
1 point – slightly improved ultrasound picture and clinical presentations
0 – no effect

* Changed node structure (loosening) manifested as increasing (as a degree of risk).

The effectiveness of treatment was estimated in the same way as for gynecological inflammations.

Hemorrhoids . Pain relieved after the first treatment session, and hemorrhagic diathesis disappeared after the 3 rd session. External nodes completely disappeared by the 5-6 session. We used the same program that was used when treating gynecological inflammations (superficial electrodes were excluded).

Prostatitis . In addition to the therapy program for inflammatory diseases, the superficial electrode was applied on the perineum.

Enuresis . The patients were at the age before 18. The rectal electrode was applied on the area between the large lips of pudendum, and the superficial electrodes 1, 4 on the renal area; 2, 3 - on the urinary bladder area.

Coccygeal metastasis . Same as for prostatitis.

Summary :

SCENAR-DE therapy proved to be an effective ancillary method in complex treatment of patients with gynecological pathologies.
Using SCENAR-DE reduces time of treatment for patients with hyperplastic gynecological diseases.
In all cases the SCENAR-DE treatment produced no complications and aftereffects and was adequately accepted by the patients.
Methods of SCENAR-DE usage are easy and simple and lighten the SCENAR-therapists' work.
Besides gynecology, using SCENAR-DE devices proved to be effective for treatment of particular urological and proctologic pathologies.
